COLLEGE ENTRANCE TESTS/APPLICATION INFORMATION

PSAT/NMSQT--The PSAT/NMSQT (Pre-SAT and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be available to Sophomores and Juniors  on October 19, 2016.  During the Junior year, this test will be used to determine National Merit Scholarship qualification status.  This test will not be used to determine National Merit Scholarship qualification during the Sophomore year, however taking the test during the sophomore year is good practice and exposure for the test during their Junior year.

The cost of this test is $15.00 and a check should be made payable to Colby High School.

Students interested in taking this test need to sign up in the Career Center and give their checks to Mrs. Sullivan or Mrs. Goetz.

ACT -- The next ACT test date is October 22, 2016. The registration deadline is September 16, 2016. The late registration period is from September 17-30, 2016. Register for the ACT at www.actstudent.org. The Colby High School Code is 170-625.

Senior Credit Checks--Seniors please remember to make an appointment with Mrs. Sullivan to review your credits for graduation. It is very important that you check to make sure you have met all requirements for graduation.  

College Application Deadlines--Seniors, please be advised that many colleges in Kansas have a Nov. 1, 2016 application deadline.
